Building A Board
Aaron Graves, DT, Iowa
Aaron Graves is from Dayton, Iowa. As a Southeast Valley High School senior, Graves was named the Iowa Gatorade Player of the Year. He dominated on their defensive line and served as the team's punter, while also placing 4th in the state in wrestling and finishing as the basketball program’s all-time leading scorer with 1,356 career points. As a freshman at Iowa, Graves was a rotational depth piece for the Hawkeyes as he compiled 15 tackles, 6 TFLs, and 3 sacks. Still unable to crack the starting lineup in ‘23, the sophomore saw an uptick in snaps, and the production soon followed. Graves finished year two with 37 tackles, 5 TFLs, 2.5 sacks, and forced a fumble. As a junior in ‘24, Graves earned a starting job and was honored with the team’s Hustle Award. The defensive tackle had his best season yet with 33 tackles, 8 TFLs, 6 sacks, and 3 forced fumbles. Despite standing 6’5”, Graves has an excellent ability to get below the pad level of the interior lineman he’s up against, likely coming from his days as a wrestler in high school.
Tanner Koziol, TE, Houston
Tanner Koziol is from Bloomingdale, Illinois. He attended three high schools, playing WR in football, a big man in basketball, and some form of baseball. His game day ritual is to drink two Gatorades and eat two Rice Krispy treats. Koziol’s first college stop was at Ball State. As a freshman in ‘22, Koziol made his transition to TE look easy as he caught 35 passes for 373 receiving yards and 7 TDs while getting named 1st Team All-MAC. During his sophomore season in ‘23, Koziol saw fewer catches (34), yards (295), and scores (3). That said, he was the only player on the team to catch multiple TDs, as he was named 3rd Team All-MAC. As a junior in ‘24, Tanner Koziol had a monster season with 94 catches, 839 receiving yards, and 8 touchdowns. This past spring, the star TE decided to transfer to the Houston Cougars. At 6’7” with WR hands, Tanner Koziol is a matchup nightmare and a willing run blocker. If he can somewhat replicate his ‘24 season in the Big 12, Koziol could very well end up as a Day 2 pick in the ‘26 NFL Draft.
Collin Wright, CB, Stanford
Collin Wright is from Missouri City, Texas. A 4-star recruit out of Manvel HS, Wright was a National Honor Society member who finished high school with 156 tackles, 16 pass breakups, and 13 INTs. After redshirting in ‘22, Wright became a starter for Stanford the following season. He was named a PAC-12 Honorable Mention for Freshman Defensive Player of the Year as he made 61 tackles, 5 TFLs, a sack, broke up 5 passes, and came down with his 1st collegiate interception. In ‘24, Collin Wright rotated between starting at corner and nickel as he came up with 41 tackles, 2.5 TFLs, 5 pass breakups, and he led the Cardinals with 3 interceptions. Stanford honored him with the Gundelach Award for his efforts, given to the team’s most outstanding junior (even though he was technically a redshirt sophomore). Collin Wright is probably best suited to play a big nickel role in the NFL. While he may not have the elite speed compared to the NFL’s fastest guys, Wright is a smart and versatile defender with a knack for finding the football.
Harold Perkins Jr., LB, LSU
Harold Perkins Jr. is from New Orleans, Louisiana. A consensus 5-star prospect out of Cypress Park High School, Perkins Jr. was listed as a Top 10 national recruit among all major outlets. As a freshman at LSU in ‘22, Harold Perkins Jr. lived up to the hype as he had statistically one of the best true freshman seasons in program history. He had 10 sacks, 13 QB Hits, 18 QB Hurries, 72 tackles, and 4 forced fumbles. Not only was Perkins Jr. named a Freshman American, but he also finished on the 1st Team All-SEC. As a sophomore in ‘23, the star linebacker backed up his strong play with 75 tackles, 13 TFLs, 5.5 sacks, and 3 forced fumbles as he was named 2nd Team All-SEC. Unfortunately for Harold Perkins in ‘24, his season was cut short after only four games due to an ACL tear. Now fully healthy, the Tiger linebacker has returned to practice at full strength and is expected to start in their opening game matchup with Clemson. A versatile linebacker who has proven he can both effectively play in coverage and rush the passer, Perkins Jr. likely would have been a 1st Round pick had he been healthy for the ‘25 NFL Draft. With a return to form this season, he’ll make an excellent pro linebacker soon.
Max Bredeson, FB, Michigan
Max Bredeson is from Hartland, Wisconsin. His older brother, Ben Bredeson, played four years at Michigan, was drafted by the Baltimore Ravens, traded to the New York Giants, and last year signed with the Tampa Bay Bucs as an offensive guard. His other older brother, Jack Bredeson, also went to Michigan as a pitcher. Max Bredeson attended Arrowhead High School in Wisconsin, where he played quarterback in football and outfield in baseball. After redshirting in ‘21, Bredeson has spent the past 3 seasons as a special teams contributor, TE, and Fullback for the Wolverines. Since ‘22, Bredeson has caught passes for 121 yards and has graded out as an above-average blocker by PFF College. In ‘24, his teammates named him a team captain, he was awarded the Michigan Robert P. Ufer Bequest recipient for most enthusiastic player, and honored with the Toughest Player Award. Entering his senior season, Max Bredeson was once again named a team captain as he’ll do Michigan’s dirty work on special teams and set up running lanes as a lead blocker on offense.

Richie Saunders, SF, BYU
Richie Saunders is from Riverton, Utah. He is the great-grandson of Nephi Grigg, the man who invented Tater Tots. A 3-star recruit out of Wasatch Academy, Saunders spent his first two seasons coming off the BYU bench as a role player. In his first 68 collegiate games, Saunders averaged 7.6 points and 3.3 rebounds per game, shooting 35% from 3. As a junior last season, Richie Saunders earned a starting role and was named the Big 12 Most Improved Player of the Year. He averaged career-highs with 16.5 points, 4.5 rebounds, 1.6 assists, and 1.2 steals per game while shooting 43% from beyond the arc. His breakout season was capped off with back-to-back 25-point games against Wisconsin and Alabama in the NCAA Tournament. Saunders is a balanced scorer who can hit from deep, create his own mid-range shot, and is skillful enough to finish around the rim. Entering his senior season, Richie Saunders will once again be the Cougars’ most efficient scorer and may be asked to do some more facilitating as a point forward.
Keba Keita, C, BYU
Keba Keita is from Bamako, Mali. He moved to Utah in high school and played at American Heritage HS. A 4-star prospect, Keita’s first college stop was at Utah University. In two seasons with the Utes, Keita mainly came off Utah’s bench to average 5.8 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 1.1 blocks per game. With the Cougars last season, Keita received a starting role at center. In 35 starts, the 6’8” center averaged 7.4 points, 7.9 rebounds, and 1.2 blocks per game. Keita especially played well during BYU’s postseason play as his production increased to 11 points, 8.6 rebounds, and 2.2 blocks per game. Keba Keita will be a valuable piece to the Cougars this season as their main rim protector and rebounder.
Kennard Davis Jr., SG, BYU
Kennard Davis Jr. is from St. Louis, Missouri. He attended Vashon High School, where he helped the team win four straight Missouri state championships. Despite the success, Davis Jr. was a bit unheralded as a 3-star college prospect. His first stop in college was at Southern Illinois. As a freshman with the Salukis, Davis Jr. averaged 4.2 points and 3 rebounds per game off the bench. As a sophomore last season, the wing player earned a starting role as his production took quite a jump. He averaged 16.3 points, 4.9 rebounds, 2.6 assists, and 1.3 steals per game while hitting on 38% of his 3-pointers. Kennard Davis Jr. was honored with 2nd Team All-Missouri Valley Conference in ‘25. While his scoring may take a dip with the Cougars, the 6’6” transfer will be a versatile wing defender and sharpshooter.
Robert Wright III, PG, BYU
Robert Wright III is from Wilmington, Delaware. After winning the Pennsylvania Gatorade Player of the Year at Neumann-Goretti HS, he spent his senior year of high school at Montverde Academy, helping them go 33-0 en route to a national prep school title. Wright’s first stop in college was at Baylor last season. As a freshman for the Bears, the point guard averaged 11.5 points, 4.2 assists, 2.1 rebounds, and a steal per game. He began the season on Baylor’s bench before taking over a starting role by year’s end. He earned Big-12 All-Freshman Team recognition and became the first freshman in Baylor program history to lead the Bears in scoring during an NCAA Tournament game, scoring 19 points in the Round of 64. Wright III decided to transfer to BYU this upcoming year as he’ll replace the lead ball-handling duties of Egor Demin. A floor general type point guard, Wright III will be asked to play tough-nosed defense and lead the Cougars in assists this season.
