Chris Cenac, C, Houston
Chris Cenac was born in Chicago but grew up in New Orleans. After winning back-to-back Louisiana state championships as a member of Newman High School as a sophomore and a junior, Cenac transferred to Link Academy in Branson, Missouri, for his senior year. At the prep athletic academy, Cenac was listed as a 5-star recruit and the #1-ranked center in the nation, according to ESPN in ‘25. The highly-touted freshman decided to play for the Houston Cougars. In his lone season under Kelvin Sampson, Cenac averaged 9.5 points and 7.9 rebounds per game while shooting 33% from beyond the arc. Although he doesn’t offer much rim protection, Cenac is solid on the glass, and his shooting ability should give him a role as a stretch big man off the bench. Right now his game reminds me of a young Knicks’ Channing Frye.
Jayden Quaintance, PF, Kentucky
Jayden Quaintance is from Cleveland, Ohio. His father, Haminn Quaintance, played College Hoops at Jacksonville and Kent State in the mid-2000s, averaging 11.4 points with 7.6 rebounds per game during his collegiate career. A 5-star recruit, Jayden Quaintance was a McDonald’s All-American in high school. His first stop in college was at Arizona State in ‘24. As a freshman, he averaged 9.4 points, 7.9 rebounds, and 2.6 blocks per game for the Sun Devils. This earned him recognition on the Big 12 All-Freshman Team and Big 12 All-Defensive Team for ‘24-’25. Unfortunately, his season was cut short at ASU as Jayden Quaintance suffered a torn ACL, meniscus, and fractured knee. He transferred to Kentucky last season, where he returned to the court but had his season cut short after just 4 games due to knee swelling. The hope is that with the extra rest this winter, Jayden Quaintance will be able to make a full recovery for his rookie season in the NBA. The 6’10” big man has a 7’5” wingspan and, when healthy, can be a real problem in the paint. His game reminds me a bit of Kenneth Faried, but with a bigger wingspan.
Christian Anderson, PG, Texas Tech
Christian Anderson is from Atlanta, Georgia. His father, Christian Anderson Sr., is German and played professional basketball overseas. Christian Anderson averaged 23.7 points per game at Lovett School in Atlanta before finishing his high school years at Oak Hill Academy. The McDonald’s All-American nominee was considered a 4-star recruit. Before Texas Tech, Anderson decided to play for Germany’s international team in the FIBA U19 World Cup. Throughout the competition, Anderson averaged 17.3 points, 6.6 assists, and 4.9 rebounds per game. He played great in the final against Team USA, scoring 18 points with 9 assists, 5 rebounds, and 4 steals. As a freshman at Texas Tech, Anderson took over a starting role by the end of the season. For the year, he averaged 10.6 points, 3 rebounds, and 2.2 assists per game, which earned him a spot on the All-Big 12 Freshman Team. Last season as a sophomore, Anderson improved every aspect of his game by averaging 18.5 points, 7.4 assists, 3.6 rebounds, and 1.5 steals per game while shooting 42% from beyond the arc. He won the Big 12 Most Improved Player and was named 3rd Team All-American. The sophomore especially stepped up as a leader when the late-season injury to JT Toppin occurred. He’s an underrated playmaker with good finishing ability around the rim. I think he’ll be a Bobby Jackson type of pro.
Bennett Stirtz, SG, Drake
Bennett Stirtz is from Liberty, Missouri, where he played for Liberty High School. Despite becoming a 1,000-point scorer and a 2-time All-State recipient, Stirtz was not heavily recruited by D1 schools. He decided to play for the Northwest Missouri State Bearcats at the D2 level. As a freshman in ‘22-’23, Bennett Stirtz was named his conference’s Freshman of the Year as he averaged 12.6 points, 3.4 assists, and 2 steals per game. He returned to NMSU as a sophomore and was 2nd Team All-MIAA, upping his scoring to 15.2 points, assists to 3.5, and rebounds to 3.5 per game. This past offseason, the junior guard transferred to Drake University in D1. He led the Bulldogs to the NCAA Tournament, averaging 19.2 points, 5.7 assists, 4.3 rebounds, and 2.1 steals per game while shooting 40% from 3-point range. This earned him the MVC Larry Bird Player of the Year award and an honorable-mention All-American selection by the AP. Stirtz decided to transfer to Iowa last season, following up with 19.8 points, 4.4 assists, 2.6 rebounds, and 1.4 steals per game. He led the Hawkeyes to the Elite 8, earning 1st Team All-Big Ten recognition. Bennett Stirtz played a ton of point guard the past couple of seasons, but is much better at creating his own shot as opposed to setting up his teammates. At 6’4”, he should be tall enough that his good footwork in the post should allow him to shoot over most guards in the NBA. Luke Ridnour would be my pro comparison here.
Emanuel Sharp, SF, Houston
Emanuel Sharp was born in Tel Aviv, Israel. His father, Derrick Sharp, played professional basketball in Israel before becoming a citizen and playing for the national team. Emanuel Sharp played his high school hoops just outside of Tampa, Florida, where he was coached by his father at Bishop McLaughlin Catholic School. A 4-star recruit, Emanuel Sharp decided to play for the Houston Cougars but missed his freshman season due to a broken fibula from his senior year of high school. When Sharp returned in ‘22, his career started off as a bench piece. By the start of his redshirt sophomore season, Sharp was inserted into the starting lineup, where he’d become a regular fixture for three seasons forward. As a starter with the Cougars, Sharp averaged 13.6 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 1.3 steals per game while shooting 38% from beyond the arc. During Houston’s National Championship runner-up run, Sharp was named the Midwest Regional Most Outstanding Player, and last season he earned All-Big 12 Conference All-Defensive Team recognition. He is a catch-and-shoot wing with a funny release that goes in. I think his years of playing tough defense at Houston will help him in the NBA, as a guard-like Jared Dudley.
Peter Suder, G, Miami (Ohio)
Peter Suder is from Carmel, Indiana. He attended Carmel High School, where he won two state championships and averaged 13.6 points per game as a senior. His first college stop was at Bellarmine University. As a freshman in ‘22-23, Suder made the ASUN All-Freshman Team with 9.9 points, 4.3 rebounds, 2.6 assists, and 1.1 steals per game. During his sophomore year at Bellarmine, Suder continued his steady play, averaging 10.5 points, 4.3 rebounds, 3.3 assists, and 1.2 steals per game. Last season, the shooting guard transferred to Miami (OH) and earned 1st Team All-MAC recognition. He led the RedHawks with 13.7 points and 3.8 assists per game. This past season as a senior with Miami, Suder led the nation’s only undefeated regular season team in scoring at 14.8 points along with 4 assists, 4.6 rebounds, and 1.3 steals per game. In the RedHawks’ NCAA Tournament game against Tennessee, Suder scored a team-high 27 points. I see a lot of Brent Barry in his game, with good shooting and solid handles.
Matayo Uiagalelei, Edge, Oregon
Matayo Uiagalelei is from Bellflower, California. The younger brother of DJ Uiagalelei, Matayo, decided to hit QBs rather than try to be one. He attended St. John Bosco High School, helping them claim a National Title as a 5-star prospect recruited by a litter of Top 25 schools. Uiagalelei decided to play for the Oregon Ducks. As a freshman in ‘23, Uiagalelei served as a depth piece off the bench as he was credited for 3 TFLs, 2 sacks, and 10 QB Hurries. Uiagalelei earned a starting role for the Ducks in ‘24, and the sophomore enjoyed a breakout season. Off the Oregon edge, Uiagalelei was named 1st Team All-Big Ten with 10.5 sacks, 12.5 TFLs, 2 forced fumbles, an interception, and he even blocked a kick. As a junior in ‘25, Uiagalelei saw a bit more attention from opposing offenses. Although he finished with 6 sacks, he more than doubled his QB Hurries from the year before to 38 in ‘25.
Cayden Green, OT, Missouri
Cayden Green is from Lee’s Summit, Missouri. Touted as one of the top tackles from his recruiting class, Green’s first stop out of Lee’s Summit North HS was at Oklahoma. As a freshman with the Sooners in ‘23, Green made 5 starts at Left Guard. In ‘24 as a sophomore, Green decided to transfer to Missouri, where he got to play alongside his former high school teammate, Armand Membou. Green and Membou made up one of the more formidable offensive lines in the SEC. The sophomore guard in ‘24 graded out as a 76.7 Pass Block and 75 Run Block by PFF College, while only giving up a single sack all season. During his junior season in ‘25, Green kicked out to Left Tackle and anchored the Tigers’ offensive line. In his new position, Green allowed just two sacks and 3 QB Hurries all season, earning 1st Team All-SEC recognition.
KJ Bolden, S, Georgia
KJ Bolden is from Buford, Georgia. He was a 5-star prospect out of Buford High School, playing both wide receiver and safety. Upon his arrival at Georgia in ‘24, Bolden decided to stick with defense and immediately made an impact, enough to be named to the SEC All-Freshman Team. In ‘24, the true freshman had 59 tackles, 2 TFLs, a sack, an interception, and a forced fumble. As a sophomore in ‘25, Bolden took his game up another notch by finishing 2nd on Georgia in tackles (76) while chipping in with 2.5 TFLs, 2 INTs, 5 pass deflections, and a blocked punt. For his efforts, the star safety earned 2nd Team All-SEC recognition. With two years of starting in the SEC, Bolden enters the ‘26 season as one of the more experienced defensive backs in the conference.
AJ Holmes Jr., DT, Texas Tech
Anthony Holmes Jr. is from Houston, Texas. His father, Anthony Holmes Sr., played both LB and RB for Northwestern in the 2000s. At Westfield High School, Holmes Jr. was a star his senior season, averaging 16 tackles per game and 16 sacks. A 3-star prospect, Holmes Jr. redshirted in ‘22 while participating in the Independence Bowl. As a redshirt Cougar in ‘23, Holmes earned playing time in their rotation with 21 tackles, 4.5 TFLs, and 2.5 sacks. During his sophomore season, he was inserted into the starting lineup, where he led the Cougars in snaps among their defensive line. In turn, Holmes had 40 tackles, 8.5 TFLs, 2 sacks, and 20 QB Hurries. His junior year in ‘25 was his best thus far, as AJ Holmes transferred to Texas Tech, where he earned 2nd Team AP All-American recognition. The 6’3” & 300 lbs DT had 38 tackles, 9 TFLs, 4.5 sacks, one forced fumble, and 2 fumble recoveries on a stout Red Raider front.
