Today’s tune is Drake’s 6 PM in New York. It’s the outro to his If You’re Reading This, It’s Too Late. Thank goodness, I get Drake was going for a spooky cover, but frankly, it’s a weird album cover to post on social media every Monday. Anyway, I figured to schedule the post for 6 PM ET in New York.

Position Rankings are nearly set up; here are the Player Profiles in chronological order…
Trey Amos, CB, Ole Miss
Trey Amos is from New Iberia, Louisiana. He played at Catholic-New Iberia High School and helped them win a state championship in ‘17 as a sophomore. Amos also played basketball and was an elite long jumper in track. His first stop out of high school was at Louisiana Lafayette, where he played 3 seasons with the Ragin’ Cajuns. Trey Amos then transferred to Alabama in ‘23. Under Nick Saban, Amos contributed as a backup DB but was effective in his role, allowing just 9 catches for 101 yards all season. This past season was Trey Amos’ best as he earned not only a starting role at Ole Miss but was recognized as a 2nd Team All-American. The 6’1” corner made 40 tackles, caught 3 interceptions, and broke up a total of 10 passes. Amos is expected to run around a 4.4-ish 40-time, which, paired with his height, would make him an excellent outside corner in the NFL. While he may only have 1 year of starting experience in the SEC, Trey Amos will get a chance to compete at the Reese’s Senior Bowl to prove he’s NFL-ready.
TJ Sanders, DT, South Carolina
TJ Sanders is from Marion, South Carolina. As a senior at Marion High School, Sanders helped the Swamp Foxes (a great high school team mascot) reach the state championship in football while also averaging a double-double in basketball. Sanders decided to play for his home state with the Gamecocks. After redshirting in ‘21 and backing up in ‘22, TJ Sanders earned a starting role on the South Carolina D-Line in ‘23. The redshirt sophomore made 31 tackles with 5 sacks, 6 QB Hits, and 16 QB Hurries as Sanders was named 3rd Team All-SEC. The Gamecocks weren’t too surprised by his breakout performance, thanks to his ‘23 offseason that earned him the team Nutrition Award and Defensive Player of the Spring. Sanders backed up his strong ‘23 season with 5 more sacks, 9 QB Hits, and 19 QB Hurries in ‘24. The 6’4” & 290 lbs. interior lineman was a force in ‘24, earning 2nd Team All-SEC. College Football Nation named Sanders the SEC Interior Defender of the Year. TJ Sanders has an extreme amount of power as a pass rusher from the defensive tackle position.
Chase Lundt, OT, UConn
Chase Lundt is from Arlington, Texas. The team captain of Martin High School, Lundt, didn’t play football for 2 years in College as he redshirted his freshman season at UConn in ‘19, and the university canceled football in 2020 for COVID. He entered the Huskies’ starting lineup at Right Tackle in ‘21, where he made 11 starts but struggled with some rust. As a redshirt sophomore in ‘22, Lundt cut down on his pressures allowed from 24 to 10. It wouldn’t be until the ‘23 season that he really developed into a rock at Right Tackle. During his junior year, the 6’8” & 305 lbs. tackle allowed only 2 sacks, and he earned a 78.3 Run Block Grade at PFF College. As a 4th year starter in ‘24, Chase Lundt became one of the best Right Tackles in College Football last season. Lundt didn’t allow a single sack, was only penalized twice all season, and bullied defenders with an 87 Run Block Grade from PFF College. Chase Lundt has the prototypical size and strength of a run-blocking tackle in the NFL.
Charles Grant, OT, William & Mary
Charles Grant is from Portsmouth, Virginia. At Churchland High School, Grant was a standout offensive lineman and an All-State wrestler. After redshirting his freshman season at William & Mary, Charles Grant made 13 starts at Left Tackle in ‘22 and didn’t allow a single sack. Grant backed up his 1st Team All-CAA selection in ‘22 with yet another strong performance in ‘23 as a junior. Not only was Grant again named 1st Team All-CAA, but the Associated Press gave the small school product a ringing endorsement, naming him a 2nd Team All-American. This past season, Charles Grant again dominated his Division I-AA competition as he graded out at an elite 90.7 overall blocking grade by PFF College. In 1,170 passing block attempts, the 6’4” and 300 lbs. blindside blocker allowed just 4 career sacks. Off the field, Charles Grant is equally as special. During William & Mary’s Be The Match drive, Grant added his name to the national bone marrow registry. Grant was identified as a match in the spring of ‘23 with no guarantee that he'd be called or obligated to go through with the donation process. Not only did he have no second thoughts, but he underwent the 7-hour non-surgical procedure to hopefully help save a stranger’s life. He said to W&M News, “I knew what I was signing up for. It was very important to me, and I’m very glad I did it. It’s very important to get more people of African-American descent on the registry. That was one of the main reasons why I signed up. I wanted to raise those numbers a little bit.” An elite pass blocker with clearly great character, Grant has a chance to rise up draft boards at the Reese’s Senior Bowl Week.
Jared Wilson, C, Georgia
Jared Wilson is from Winston-Salem, North Carolina. A 3-star prospect out of West Forsyth High School, Wilson was recruited as an offensive guard entering College in ‘21. After 2 seasons where Wilson provided depth on a loaded Georgia Bulldog front, Wilson regularly started receiving reps in ‘23 as a junior. Serving as the backup of Sedrick Van Pran, Wilson must’ve learned a ton from the All-SEC lineman. This past season, Jared Wilson was inserted into the Georgia Bulldog starting offensive line and played great. In 12 starts for the Bulldogs, Wilson didn’t allow a single sack and was only responsible for 5 QB Hurries in 511 dropbacks. The senior center was also excellent as a run-blocker and is considered one of the best pulling centers of this draft class. While he may only have 1 year of starting experience, Georgia has been developing some solid offensive linemen for the NFL, and Wilson has a shot at becoming the 1st Center off the board.

Curtis Jones, G, Iowa State
Curtis Jones is from Minneapolis, Minnesota. He played his high school hoops at Cretin-Derham Hall in St. Paul. Out of high school, Jones’ first stop was at Indian Hills Community College. In his one season at the JUCO program, Jones averaged 12.1 points, 6.0 rebounds, and 5.5 assists per game. He decided to transfer to SUNY Buffalo in ‘21-’22. While he didn’t play much in time in his first season with the Bulls, Jones became a starter as a sophomore as he averaged 15 points, 4.8 rebounds, 3 assists, and 1.5 steals per game. After 2 seasons at Buffalo, Curtis Jones transferred to Iowa State last season. Jones immediately made an impact with the Cyclones as he posted 37 starts with 11 points, 2.9 rebounds, and 2 assists per game. He was particularly great during the Cyclones’ Sweet 16 March Madness run, averaging 17 points on 53% shooting from beyond the arc. Curtis Jones’ hot steak down the stretch of last season has carried over to ‘24-’25. The senior guard is averaging a career-high 18.6 points per game while hitting on 40% from deep. In Iowa State’s Saturday win over Arizona State, Curtis Jones played all 40 minutes and scored a career-high 33 points. The Cyclones are currently 17-2 and ranked #3 in the country with Jones leading the charge in their scoring department.
Reyne Smith, G, Louisville
Reyne Smith is from Ulverstone, Australia. During his younger days, Reyne Smith represented the Aussies in the FIBA World Cup and also averaged 20 points per game while shooting 50% from deep in the 2020 Australian National Championships. Smith decided to play College Hoops stateside in ‘21 as he attended the College of Charleston. As a freshman at CoC in ‘21-’22, Smith earned a starting role just a few weeks into the season thanks to his sharpshooting. He averaged 12.1 points per game and had one of the best freshman shooting years in program history. While his shooting percentages and scoring dipped as a sophomore, Reyne Smith played a big part in willing the College of Charleston into the March Madness Tournament, as he went on a 14-0 personal run to lift the Cougars in their CAA Semifinal win. Last season was Reyne Smith’s last one as a Cougar, as he shot 39% from beyond the arc while averaging 12.8 points per game. Smith particularly stood out in the Cougars’ Round of 64 loss to ‘Bama, scoring 13 points. Last spring, Reyne Smith entered the transfer portal, and the senior guard chose Louisville. The Aussie sharpshooter is currently averaging a career-best 14.5 points per game while shooting 41% from deep. In the Cardinals’ victory last week against SMU, Smith scored all 30 of his points from beyond the arc as he hit 10 of 17 from deep. At 15-5, Louisville is in the 3rd Place in the ACC, and on Tuesday night, they are set to face 4th Place, Wake Forest.
Kam Jones, F, Marquette
Kam Jones is from Memphis, Tennessee. A nationally ranked prep prospect from Evangelical Christian School, Kam Jones averaged nearly 20 points and 10 rebounds per game as a senior in high school. As a freshman at Marquette, Kam Jones was named to the Big East All-Freshman Team as he excelled as the team’s 6th Man off the bench. Jones earned a starting role as a sophomore in ‘22-’23, which resulted in All-Big East 2nd Team recognition with 15.1 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 2 assists per game. Last season, Kam Jones improved his scoring up a tick to 17.2 points per game as he shot a career-best 41% from 3. Jones was particularly excellent last March in the NCAA Tournament, scoring 22 points per game to help Marquette reach the Sweet 16. Kam Jones has taken over point guard duties this season and made the added responsibilities look seamless. The senior PG is averaging career-highs with 19 points, 6.5 assists, 4.8 rebounds, and 1.7 steals per game. Marquette is currently in 1st Place in the Big East with a 17-3 record. In today’s College Sports of NIL, it’s very rare to see a player stick with a school for all 4 seasons, Kam Jones has developed into a star at Marquette.
Donovan Dent, G, New Mexico
Donovan Dent is from Riverside, California. He played his high school hoops at Centennial, where he was not only named California Mr. Basketball but was awarded the John Wooden High School Player of the Year in ‘22. That season as a senior, Dent averaged 16.6 points and 6.6 assists as Centennial won the 2022 State Championship. As a freshman at New Mexico in ‘22-’23, Dent backed up Jamal Mashburn Jr. and Jaelen House (Eddie House’s son), averaging 5.6 points per game off the bench. Dent returned as a sophomore last season and played the point alongside Mashburn Jr. The Lobos point guard was named 2nd Team All-Mountain West as he improved to 14.1 points and 5.4 assists per game. This year’s Lobos squad is run by Donovan Dent entirely. The junior PG is averaging 19.6 points, 6.6 assists, and 1.5 steals per game. Over the weekend, Dent scored 34 points in New Mexico’s thrilling 75-73 win at UNLV. Donovan Dent has led the Lobos to a 17-4 record as they sit atop the Mountain West standings.
