On to the ball…
TJ Hall Jr., CB, Iowa
TJ Hall Jr. is from Fresno, California. He attended San Joaquin Memorial High School, where he did a bit of everything, playing defensive back, wide receiver, return specialist, and quarterback. During his first two seasons with the Hawkeyes, Hall was primarily a special teamer who saw limited action in Iowa’s defensive backfield. He earned a starting role as a junior, making 19 tackles with two pass deflections, and caught his first career interception. For his efforts, TJ Hall Jr. was named the Next Man In Award in ‘24. This season, the senior corner leads the Big Ten in pass deflections with 8. Standing 6’ tall, Hall Jr. plays on the outside of the Hawkeyes’ defense and is an excellent in run defense with 30 tackles in ‘25. Iowa is an underrated NFL factory for defensive backs. TJ Hall Jr. will likely be a Day 3 pick come next spring.
Tano Letuli, LB, San Diego State
Tano Letuli is from San Diego, California. He played running back at Cathedral Catholic High School and was considered a 3-star recruit entering college. His first stop after high school was at West Point, where he played on special teams for the Army. Letuli transferred to San Diego State in ‘24 and immediately became a team captain. He earned a starting role at linebacker for the Aztecs as a sophomore, finishing with 70 tackles, 3.5 TFLs, 1.5 sacks, and an interception. This season, Letuli got off to another great start in 6 games with the Aztecs as he made 30 tackles and returned a Pick-6. Unfortunately, the junior linebacker tore his ACL earlier in November. In the past two seasons, Letuli has been one of the best linebackers in coverage in the country, allowing just 21 catches for 121 yards in 16 games. Due to his significant injury that will hold him out for the rest of the season, Tano Letuli is likely to return to school for his senior season as one of the nation’s top linebackers.
KC Concepcion, WR, Texas A&M
KC Concepcion is from Charlotte, North Carolina. He attended Julius L. Chambers High School, where he caught 65 passes for 977 yards and 12 touchdowns as an upperclassman. The 4-star prospect began his collegiate career with NC State and earned the ACC Rookie of the Year in 2023. In his two seasons with the Wolf Pack, Concepcion made 124 receptions for 1,299 receiving yards and 16 TDs. The playmaker also took 60 carries for 356 rushing yards and two scores on the ground. This past spring, the 5’11” wideout transferred to Texas A&M. In his first 9 games with the Aggies, Concepcion has caught 40 passes for 629 receiving yards and 8 TDs. While he spent the vast majority of his time in the slot at NC State, Concepcion has lined up out wide in over 60% of his snaps at Texas A&M. Due to his height and shiftiness, Concepcion profiles as a slot WR in the NFL with some upside as a good route runner.
Romello Height, EDGE, Texas Tech
Romello Height is from Dublin, Georgia. A 4-star recruit in 2020, Height’s collegiate career began at Auburn. He spent two seasons with the War Eagles, but retained COVID and redshirt status as he didn’t get much playing time. He transferred to USC in ‘22 and spent two seasons with the Trojans, which included 14 games played with 6 TFLs and 4 sacks. In ‘24, Height transferred once more to Georgia Tech. With the Yellow Jackets, the edge rusher had 6.5 TFLs and 2.5 sacks. This season is Romello Height’s final year of collegiate eligibility, as he decided to transfer a final time to play for Texas Tech. With the Red Raiders, Height is off to his best season yet, having tallied 6 TFLs and 6 sacks as the pass rusher opposite of David Bailey. Romello Height has graded out as a good pass rusher with solid pass coverage skills and will likely be a mid-round NFL Draft prospect.
Austin Siereveld, OT, Ohio State
Austin Siereveld is from Liberty Township, Ohio. A 4-star recruit out of Lakota East High School, Siereveld served as bench depth during his freshman season in ‘23. As a sophomore in ‘24, Siereveld earned his first starts at both guard positions on the Buckeye offensive line. This season, 6’5” and 325 lbs. lineman has shifted over to Left Tackle. As the blindside of the Ohio State offensive line, Siereveld has yet to allow a sack and has only been penalized once through 9 games. Given his versatility with experience at both guard spots and left tackle, Austin Siereveld will be sought out for as a flexible piece to an NFL offensive line.
Here’s a quick bit about five College Basketball players this season…
Darryn Peterson, PG, Kansas
Darryn Peterson is from Canton, Ohio (home of the NFL Hall of Fame). He participated in the FIBA Under-16 Americas Championship, winning a gold medal for Team USA while averaging 16.8 points per game in the tournament. Peterson attended Napa Christian High School, where he won the 2025 Naismith Trophy Boys High School Player of the Year while averaging 30.4 points, 7.2 rebounds, 7.4 assists, and 2.2 steals per game. The 5-star recruit is a consensus Top-3 player of this freshman class. In his first two games with Kansas, the star freshman has already made a name for himself as he’s averaging over 20 points per game. It is almost a certainty that Peterson will be a One-N-Done player for the Jayhawks and could even become the #1 pick.
Kiyan Anthony, SG, Syracuse
Kiyan Anthony is from Brooklyn, New York. The son of Basketball Hall of Famer Carmelo Anthony is following in the steps of his father by playing for Syracuse University. Kiyan Anthony began high school at Christ the King High School before graduating from Long Island Lutheran. Labeled a 4-star recruit, Anthony participated in the high school showcase games, Jordan Brand + Iverson Classics, where he took home the Jordan MVP award with 26 points. This week, the freshman shooting guard made his debut off the bench and then earned his first start as he’s off to 17 points per game start. Young Anthony is a very talented scorer with a wide range of ways to get a bucket. He’ll try to lead Orange back to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2021.
Tounde Yessoufou, SF, Baylor
Tounde Yessoufou is from Cotonou, Benin, in West Africa. He began learning to play basketball around the age of 10 and moved to the United States for high school. While the game remained the same, his biggest challenge was learning the English language at St. Joseph High School of Santa Maria in California. During his four years in varsity basketball, Yessoufou led his team to a 117-19 record while averaging nearly 30 points per game. By his senior year, not only had he mastered a new language, but he became the Cal-Hi Sports’ state record holder for most points in a career. Yessoufou passed former Duke great DeMarcus Nelson with over 3,500 points in high school. The 5-star recruit chose to play for Baylor. In his debut with the Bears last week, Yessoufou scored 24 points with 7 rebounds. The 6’5” wing will be one of the top freshmen this season. He models his game after Anthony Edwards, as evidenced by a social media post. Tounde Yessoufou is a hooper and likely will be an NBA lottery pick next draft.
Christoph Tilly, C, Ohio State
Christoph Tilly is from Berlin, Germany. He moved to Chile at the age of 6 and discovered basketball at 9. Before playing college basketball in the US, Tilly played for Alba Berlin and LOK Bernau in Germany. His collegiate stop was at Santa Clara. After a freshman season in ‘22-’23 where he averaged 5.1 points and 2.7 rebounds per game off the bench, Tilly earned a starting job his sophomore season. His second season stats jumped to 9.4 points and 4.5 boards per game. Last season was his final one at Santa Clara, as he was named 2nd Team All-WCC for averaging 12.5 points and 4.9 rebounds. Tilly transferred to Ohio State over the spring. The new Buckeye big man is off to an excellent start. In his first two games at Ohio State, the skilled 7-footer has averaged 20.5 points, 7.5 rebounds, and 3.5 assists. A skilled finisher around the rim, Christoph Tilly can also hit an open 3, and will be on NBA teams radar if his breakout season at Ohio State continues.
