Back to building on to the ‘25 Draft Board, I’ll have to update it at some point but here’s what we got so far…
Nick Emmanwori, S, South Carolina
Nick Emmanwori is from Irmo, South Carolina, where he primarily played do-it-all middle linebacker for his team’s high school. He chose to play for his home state’s college, which was just 15 minutes away. As a freshman at SC, Emmanwori was a backup until he was inserted into the 1st series of their 1st game of ‘22 because starting safety R.J. Roderick got injured. Emmanwori never was taken off the field since he earned his starting job and was named a 2nd Team Freshman All-American. As a freshman, Emmanwori’s 85 tackles were the most on the team. As a sophomore in ‘23, Emmanwori was once again a starter as he was used more in the nickel for pass coverage. He finished ‘23 with 71 tackles, 8 pass deflections, and 2 INTs. This season as a junior, Emmanwori has already picked off 2 more passes and he even scored his 1st Pick-6 GIF’d above. In 2 of South Carolina’s biggest games this season with LSU and Alabama, Emmanwori has led the team in tackles with 9 in each. Clearly Nick Emmanwori still has a bit of linebacker in him from his high school days and he has proven he can hold up as an effective defender in pass coverage the past 2 seasons.
DJ Campbell, OG, Texas
DJ Campbell is from Arlington, Texas. At Bowie High School, Campbell was an All-American, All-State, and 3-time all-district honoree. Campbell was highly recruited as the top offensive guard prospect of his recruiting class. After a freshman season where he got 7 games of experience at RG, Campbell earned the starting job in ‘23 as a sophomore. Starting in all 14 games, Campbell played a key role in blocking for Jonathan Brooks and Quinn Ewers as Texas had one of the top offenses in ‘23. This season Campbell is once again in his RG role. At 6’3” and 330 lbs., he has special size, power, and quickness as an interior lineman that you just can’t teach. So far in ‘24, Campbell has graded out with an 80.7 PFF College pass-blocking grade.
Antwaun Powell-Ryland, Edge, Virginia Tech
Antwaun Powell-Ryland is from Portsmouth, Virginia, where he was a 4-star prospect at Indian River High School. His first stop in college was with the Florida Gators. After a redshirt ‘20 season and ‘21 where he collected his first sack in a limited role, Powell-Ryland found his way into the Gator starting lineup in ‘22. With more playing time, he had 3 sacks, 3 forced fumbles, and 29 tackles. In ‘23, Powell-Ryland decided to transfer to Virginia Tech as a redshirt junior. He immediately became a starter for the Hokies, finishing with 40 tackles, 9.5 sacks, and 3 more forced fumbles. His 9.5 sacks ranked 2nd in the ACC and 14th in the nation in ‘23 as he was named All-ACC 2nd Team. This season Antwaun Powell-Ryland is off to yet another strong sack campaign as he enters Week 8 of CFB with 7 sacks on the season, once again 2nd in the ACC. The 5th year senior has proven to be one of the top game-wreckers in all of College Football.
Shaun Dolac, LB, Buffalo
Shaun Dolac is from West Seneca, NY, which is within the Greater Buffalo Area. In high school, Dolac was named the Buffalo News Player of the Year as he played running back and linebacker. He rushed for a school record of 1,887 yards and added another school record of 157 tackles during his historic senior year. After spending one year at Milford Academy where he was named the team’s defensive MVP, Shaun Dolac walked on to SUNY Buffalo. After a freshman season in ‘20 where he served as a backup, Dolac earned his first two starts and a scholarship for the Bulls in ‘21 as he racked up 37 tackles, 6 TFLs, along with 1.5 sacks on the year. As a junior in ‘22, Shaun Dolac earned the starting linebacker job and he led the nation in solo tackles with 97 while being named 1st Team All-MAC. In ‘23 as a senior, Dolac only played in Buffalo’s first 4 games before suffering a season-ending injury. Dolac in the 4 games before injury had 32 tackles, 2.5 TFLs, and an interception. This year Dolac returned and has been the menace of years past. The Buffalo Bulls linebacker leads all the land in tackles with 87, while also chipping in with 2 sacks and 2 INTs.
Harold Fannin Jr., TE, Bowling Green
Harold Fannin Jr. is from Canton, Ohio, home of the NFL’s Hall of Fame. In high school, Fannin Jr. played both ways in football and baseball at McKinley High School. He was named the Stark County Football Player of the Year as a senior at McKinley, making 106 tackles, picking off 2 passes, and forcing 6 fumbles as a safety while also catching 36 passes for 601 yards and 6 TDs at WR. As a freshman at Bowling Green, Fannin Jr. made just 1 start at TE as he caught 19 passes for 218 yards and 1 score. They also used him out of the backfield as he carried the rock 10 times for 53 yards and 4 TDs in ‘22. As a sophomore, Harold Fannin Jr. was the Top TE in the MAC as he caught 44 passes for 623 yards and 6 TDs. His 1st Team All-MAC season in ‘23 put him on the Mackey Award Watch List entering ‘24 and he hasn’t disappointed. Through Week 7 of the CFB, Harold Fannin Jr. leads all the land in catches (50), receiving yards (701), and Touchdowns (5) amongst TEs. At 6’4” with great speed, Fannin Jr. has plenty of versatility as an offensive playmaker, whether he lines up in the backfield, on the line, in the slot, or out wide.
Previewing possible College Basketball starting 5s for this upcoming season. So far it’s been Duke, UConn, St. John’s, Kansas, Alabama, Houston, Gonzaga, UNC, Arkansas, and Baylor. This week it’s the Arizona Wildcats.
Caleb Love, G, Senior
Caleb Love is from St. Louis, Missouri, where he was the ‘20 Gatorade High School Player of the Year of the state. He represented Christian Brothers College High School in the ‘20 McDonald’s All-American Game, the Jordan Brand Classic, and the Iverson Classic. His first stop out of high school was with UNC. As a member of the Tar Heels, Caleb Love was named to the ACC All-Freshman Team and twice an Honorable Mention on the All-ACC teams. In Love’s 3 seasons at UNC, he averaged 14.6 points, 3.3 assists, 3.3 rebounds, and 1 steal per game. Last season he decided to transfer to Arizona and he elevated his game as a 1st Team All-American. Love averaged 18 points, 3.4 assists, 4.8 rebounds, and 1.2 steals for the Wildcats. Now a 5th-year senior, Caleb Love will look to build off his superb ‘23-’24 year and is the leader of a team with hopes of a deep March Madness run.
Jaden Bradley, G, Junior
Jaden Bradley is originally from Rochester, NY; however, he traveled a bit for high school hoops, playing in Charlotte NC, and eventually at IMG in Florida. Bradley was named the North Carolina Gatorade Player of the Year in ‘20 and earned McDonald’s All-American status with IMG as a senior. His first college before Arizona was Alabama, where he played for 1 season in ‘23. As a freshman for the Crimson Tide, Bradley made 22 starts while playing in 37 games. He was named SEC All-Freshman for his 6.4 points, 3.1 assists, and 2.6 rebounds per game. Last season he decided to transfer to the Wildcats and as a sophomore, he provided a spark off the bench. In 36 games, Bradley played 20 minutes off the pine and chipped in 7 points per game. The 6’3” guard is an excellent defender and can shoot (48% from 3). Jaden Bradley’s role should expand as he enters his junior season with the Wildcats.
Anthony Dell'Orso, G, Junior
Anthony Dell’Orso is from Melbourne, Australia, where he played on the ‘22 Victoria U20 state team and averaged 30 points, 12 rebounds, 4 assists, and 3 steals as a senior. Dell’Orso decided to play college hoops in America and chose Campbell University in Buies Creek, North Carolina. In ‘22-’23 the Aussie guard was the Big South Conference Freshman of the Year, averaging 12.5 points and 5.8 rebounds per game. As a sophomore last season, Anthony Dell’Orso was named 2nd Team All-CAA leading the Fighting Camels in points (19.5) and rebounds (6.5). The 6’6” guard is an excellent shooter from deep (38%) and at the foul line (81%). He will provide the Arizona Wildcats another scoring punch in their backcourt and has the potential to be a solid wing defender as well.
Trey Townsend, F, Senior
Trey Townsend is from Oxford, Michigan. A 1,000-point high school scorer, Townsend scored 456 points as a senior, setting Oxford High School’s single-season scoring record. Trey Townsend decided to play for Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan, where his father played hoops and his brother currently plays soccer. In 4 seasons with the Golden Grizzles, Townsend made all 129 starts from his freshman season to his senior year. The 6’6” forward began as an 8.4 points-per-game scorer, earning him Horizon League All-Freshman Team recognition. By the time he was a senior, Townsend was the Horizon League Player of the Year, averaging 17.3 points, 8.1 rebounds, 3.1 assists, and 1.3 steals per game. Townsend led Oakland in minutes played, scoring, rebounding, assisting, and steals. His best game of the season was in the Horizon League Championship as he joined Kevin Durant (‘07 Texas) as the only other player to score 35+ points, grab 10+ rebounds, and play 40+ minutes. Townsend was a key piece with a double-double in Oakland’s upset win over Kentucky in the Round of 64 last season. In his last game as a Golden Grizzle, he scored 30 points in their loss to NC State in the Round of 32. The ‘24 Lou Henson Award winner (top player in mid-major hoops) decided to take his talents to Arizona and will be an important well-rounded player for a team hoping to reach the Final Four.
