@YouTheReader we’ll skip the whole intro paragraph and get to the point. Whatever is on your mind, sports, music, movies, shows, life, etc. There are so many of you die-hard fans of all things who know what you're talking about, so this Thursday spot could only help. I love Thursday's spot because in a way it’s a reset of the week in Week to Week Notes.
@YouTheReader your default setting for His or Her Words, Not Mine is a team/sport/topic “fan insider.” All you have to do is send over a resume, cover letter, a form of ID, and 3 references. If you wish to come up with your own @Name, I’ll run with that so that other @YouTheReaders could also start to get to know your style. Either way, I won’t tell no one your name. Unless you want your name on Week to Week Notes.
NY Yankees & Jets Talk

I like him a little more now. This is funny.
(@YouTheReader Major League Baseball started regularly checking pitchers for the use of illegal foreign substances -- which have come to be known as the "sticky stuff" -- on June 21, ‘21. Pitchers have always used substances on balls in order to have better control of where their pitches go, however, much like the rest of the modern times, the sticky stuff evolved into something that gave too much of an advantage to pitchers. Umpires in between innings now randomly will request the pitcher to show them their hat, glove, and feel up their hands for the sticky stuff. The Yankees in the game where IFK pitched were down 11-1 and did not want one of their better pitchers to close out a lopsided affair so they put a position player on the mound. Hence, IKF was lobbing over pitches like someone throwing wiffle ball practice so he is making a mockery of the rules by asking to be checked of sticky stuff.)
VOLPE!!!!
Imagine Volpe is the next captain? That would mean he is awesome, and that would be awesome !!
Lol
Too funny 😂
“completely blacked out”. Classic.
Midnight 4/15 ‘23
Me 🤝 Anthony Volpe
Being “completely blacked out” on a Friday night
Not this Friday night tho don’t worry Dad. Clay Holmes needs to figure it out. And we need another bat.
I told LG last year one of his goals should be to make it to Twitter. Mission accomplished.
That’s awesome, cross the first one off ✅

Peraza called up. Looks like Stanton is hurt
What else is new?
Hamstring. I’m not sure why Peraza.
Don’t think they have a lot of healthy bats on their 40-man roster left
How does this happen to Stanton every year?
Ridiculous. And the fact no healthy bats two weeks into the season is terrible.
Crew cut Cole
We’ll see it it works for this dude.
(@YouTheReader nice hair cut and check out that handsome smile!)
Are you guys familiar with the stat OPS+? It basically takes a players OPS and then compares it to the rest of the league. So if you a 100 OPS+, it means your OBP + SLG is exactly league average for that season. For example, Brett Gardner for his career was literally 100 OPS+ so he was an average hitter. Judge for his career is 163 OPS+ and last year in his insane season he was 210+. Joey Gallo in his terrible year last year was 76 OPS+
Aaron hicks OPS+ so far this season is 1
ONE!!!!
That doesn’t seem good.
Haha how is that even possible
I really didn’t even know it was possible for it to go that low.
4/18 ‘23
Should’ve never tore it down.
Nope. Different vibes in the new place. It’s fine but the Yanks should have better than fine.
Will he ever pitch a game for the Yankees?
Brutal.
What a mess.
4/19 ‘23
And then he just hit one into the bleachers
Unreal.
Wow
Anthony Volpe is going to be really good.
He’s going to see a lot of pitches to hit in front of Judge.
Did u see what he just did?
That was awesome
He is toying with the pitcher and the catcher
No
He’s on base again?
Btw - LG last night - 1 IP 0 hits 0 BB 1 K. 8 pitches.
LG - Efficient. 👍
The record to start a career is Tim Locastro's 28 steals without getting caught.
Let’s bet on how many steals he gets this year. The winner gets a free dinner from the other 2. DG goes first he’s the youngest.
58
I think I may be too low tbh
94
Probably a bit high
67
I think it’s a little low.
What channel are the Yanks on?
Amazon prime... Annoying
Our pinch hitter for the biggest ab of the game: IKF
Let him swing the bat. Jeez.
Literally the only guy other than Judge with a hit
I can’t believe how stupid that was
They would have walked Judge anyway and Rizzo could hit into DP. Stupid
He did his job
Nice win, good for Gleyber
Yea - he’s kinda clutch late in games. Still hate the bunt.
(@YouTheReader let the kids swing!)

@NYC Pubs or Bars in case you’re reading, always feel free to DM articles or upcoming events and I’ll be sure to post about them! This list of sports bars will be useful for #GuinnessChallengeSeason. Thank you again!
Week to Week Notes has already claimed it as the Best Hockey Bar in The City, so @YouTheReader check it out for the Stanley Cup Playoffs!
Also, go check out Mike D’ Jais’ music on all platforms for some soothing tunes!
My Favorite Tweeter
As you can tell, he or she (@YouTheReader be careful don’t assume) Tweeting this is still out for blood over the Kyrie Irving and Nets divorce. They also got philosophical in reference to Kyrie Irving being a flat-Earther.
@YouTheReader I dare you to tell me that Tweeter is wrong. There is electricity in the air in Sacramento.
Upcoming Live Events…
3rd Annual Rooster Cup (June ‘23)
@YouTheReader I am excited to announce that Week to Week Notes will be covering the 3rd annual Rooster Cup held in Scottsdale, Arizona. As an independent sports journalist, it is very difficult to get credentialed all-access to sporting events, so we at Week to Week Notes are blessed with the opportunity in June.
The names and faces of golfers have been censored for privacy reasons. As you can tell, they have won trophies and this is the 3rd Annual Rooster Cup held in Scottsdale, Arizona. They have hired me to cover the golf play in hopes of one day making this an elevated event. Some poor soul named Dave was the last pick in Rooster Cup ‘23 Draft and is considered an alternate. He was not present for the Draft and never signed the non-disclosure agreement.
I already did a bit of research on how the Guinness flows in dry heat. When I mentioned to the Rooster Cup Commish about the Rooster Tavern he responded, “A must-visit.” I’m looking forward to bringing #GuinnessChallengeSeason to AZ this June.
Iverson Classic
Week to Week Notes has also been humbly granted media access to cover next weekend’s Iverson Classic. Special thanks to the Hoops Fan Insider for sending me information regarding the event. Here is how the exchange went when I got to tell them the good news…
*Sent Media Pass Above*
Lmk if you’re in
We got the pass 🫡
Broo LFG I’m so down.
Good shrimp man, they must be keeping tabs on your work. I can’t make the games on Thursday but Saturday I’m in.
I honestly didn’t think they would respond lol pretty cool. Word yeah I can’t do Thursday either but we’ll do Saturday.
Yea man that’s official it should be a great game.
I’m excited about it, thanks for sending it over 🤝
Actually same thank you I’m looking forward to it I’m gonna do some research and pull out the old video camera
Brilliant 😂
I’m ready to go 😂
Hahaha awesome!
(@YouTheReader honestly this is really cool. I shouldprobably act like I’ve been there before, but the truth is I’ve sent many business professional emails to many inboxes regarding Week to Week Notes. I never expect to hear back simply because I’ve learned it’s best to not get your hopes up, just keep shooting your shot. The Iverson Classic will be the first of what is hopefully many live events that Week to Week Notes humbly gets to cover.)
